He has served on the Board of Directors for Hospice and Palliative at Utica, St. Elizabeth College of Nursing, and the Bhutanese Community in Syracuse.

His passion for healthcare was ignited during his time in a refugee camp in Nepal, where he witnessed the dire consequences of inadequate healthcare and a lack of primary care prevention. This experience fueled his lifelong dedication to healthcare, with a particular focus on primary care prevention. Bikash is well-equipped to manage chronic diseases, drawing from his extensive experience as a nurse aide, registered nurse, and Nurse Practitioner, with over a decade of expertise in the healthcare field.
